Fiona Rae

I like the modern aspect that Rae brings to the painting. The eye is draw to different parts of the painting and I like there different towns of grays and blues with the pop of yellow, which brings the focus the center of the painting.

Wangechi Mutu

I like the idea that the artist created a figure out of different shapes and objects is very creative. The mismatched shapes bring the figure together and the modern aspect of the drawing is very interesting.

Jean-Michel Basquiat

This drawing shows a child like effect and the bright colors are interesting. Messiness of the drawing is interesting and shows how modern art doesn't have to be perfect and straight forward.
